Partnerships

Modern Conversation considers collaborations that fit its focus on language, public talk and contemporary culture, and that offer readers a clear reason to take notice.

Possible collaborations

We consider relevant partner articles, clearly identified features, and partner placements across the site. A proposal should explain the organisation or project, the subject it wishes to support, the intended audience and the form of placement being considered. We do not accept proposals that depend on disguising promotion as independent reporting.

Clear labelling

Partner material and paid placements are labelled so readers can tell them apart from independent editorial coverage. Labels remain visible wherever the material appears. A partnership does not confer control over unrelated editorial decisions or guarantee coverage beyond the agreed placement.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and select the partnership reason for writing. Include enough detail for us to understand the fit and the proposed arrangement. We review proposals for relevance, clarity and compatibility with the publication’s editorial standards.
